    2020-6-26  Matlock Dale was part open land and part sheltered woodland. In the dale I also came across the high entrance to the cable car park of the Heights of Abraham. For some there is an easier way up to this pleasure spot but not for me. I continued on through the woodland and on occasion saw limestone outcrops close to the path.
